My secret plan is to relate it to an Agrias build with white magic, something I’ll post in the near future, I just haven’t had the time.

I’ve never thought of this, but it may work, given the way axes work.

They deal 1 to max character PA times the weapon’s power. On a normal warrior they can get a fantastically high amount of damage, but most weapons for warriors do that, so axes for them are nothing extraordinary. A white mage may get some mileage out of it. I’d have to test it though.

Plus, it’s adorable and scary all at once.

Standard
Wizard Staff
Thief Hat / Flash Hat
Light Robe
Feather Mantle

White Magic
Time Magic
Reflexes
Defense Up
Any Move

This is a standard support build. They’ve got the ability to cure, protect, and pass out lots of buffs to the allies, with a little statusing enemies down.

One of my favorite warrior-mage builds is actually with the White Mage, because this class’s attack isn’t terrible and they have a higher than average speed, oddly enough.
Here it is:

Rune Blade
Thief Hat
Light Robe (or if you have extra, Robe of Lords)
Feather Mantle

White Magic
Black Magic or Time Magic or Yin-Yang Magic
Reflexes
Defense Up
Move +3

I should note that whenever I talk about this game, I tend to mix the names of things together, like I use Reflexes from the PSP game while using, say, Blade Grasp from the PS1 version. It all depends on what I prefer.
